Supporting a major drilling company, Føn Energy Services provided technical support and served as the SDLA (Specific Design Lifting Appliances) authority, particularly for the Jack-up drilling rig. 

This role involves overseeing all aspects of lifting operations, including equipment and safety compliance. 

Services delivered:

• Technical Oversight of Lifting Operations: Ensured all lifting activities complied with NORSOK R-003 standards
• Inspection and Maintenance of Lifting Appliances: Regular checks and maintenance of all lifting gear associated with the rig
• Integration with Rig Management: Worked closely with the client's rig management team to maintain high safety and operational standards
