Deck crane replacement

The deck crane on the platform will be replaced by a new and larger Palfinger crane. We have been asked to design a purpose-built crane support frame and boom rest for transportation and testing of the new crane.

The scope of work includes:

• Design and structural analysis of the crane support frame, boom support which will be supporting the crane during transportation from Poland to Norway and testing of the crane at quay.
• Interface/sea fastening to barge
• Fabrication drawing included follow-up
• Barge transport and Barge mooring analysis
• Transport manual
• Procedure for installation of temporary transport arrangements for new Palfinger crane
