Crane installation

Due to lack of crane coverage on board, we were asked to come up with a solution for the installation of the new crane, on the jack-up .

Føn Energy Services delivered the following services for the client:

• Design of a new skidding and jacking frame for transport of the new Crane from crane coverage to the cantilever. 
• Lifting calculations for lifting of the crane and design of temporary support frames, fabrication of temporary structures and method description for installation of temporary structures, method description for skidding. 
• Skidding and jacking operations for the offshore crane installation on the cantilever.
