Føn Energy Services Announces New Leadership
Føn Energy Services is announcing that Sindre Rhrich will be taking over as interim CEO from Torben Hald, who will stepping down to pursue an opportunity within a scale-up in the pharmaceutical industry, marking a new chapter with continued growth for the company. Sindre Rhrich steps up from his current role as Chief Operating Officer (COO). This transition underscores Føn’s commitment to continuity and growth as it moves forward with its strategic objectives.
Torben, who has led Føn with dedication and expressed his gratitude and optimism in a message to the wider company.
“After two incredible years at Føn, I’ve decided to step down. I have truly enjoyed working with all the fantastic people and take part of the culture and dedication at Føn that has allowed us to accomplish so much together. I will stay engaged and supportive throughout the coming process to ensure strong business continuity and care for our employees in Føn. With Sindre now taking over the company is in good hands with someone who has strong operational understanding and passion.”
Nanna Tollefsen, Chair of the Board, also commented on the leadership transition, emphasizing the board’s confidence in Sindre.

Sindre Rhrich, who has a strong background in both commercial and operational roles within the offshore industry, is well equipped to continue enable Føn Energy Services on its' growth and expansion journey. His experience and accomplishments reflect his capability to drive the company’s objectives forward.
